The Big Family News

On Saturday my older SIL (she’s 34-years-old with a 5-year-old son) found out she’s pregnant! I can’t even express how excited I am about this. They weren’t trying but accidents happen and now she’s almost exactly 5 weeks behind me. The whole family is so happy for her and can’t believe we’re both pregnant at the same time. I think it’s awesome that my child will have a cousin so close in age (and living just down the street too!). She had a little spotting (nothing bright red – just pink and brown) and went to the doctor who said she looks great, no signs of any issues, and they scheduled her for an ultrasound next week. She’s really worried about it being twins or triplets since there’re multiples on her side and her husband’s. We’re praying for just one healthy baby. Yay for surprises!
