The Theme
Registering was definitely a fun time. It was neat to look at all the baby stuff, although it was a little overwhelming. A lot of people have asked if we decided on a theme yet and it looks like we have. This is what we picked out for the main theme of the room:
I fell in love with the giraffe and that was that. Hopefully everything will come together and we can configure something that looks close to this cute.

Your theme is adorable! And, you picked out some really cute stuff on your registry, too. What a fun trip that must have been (except for the glaring, angry woman!)
Very cute. We registered today and picked a similar theme. It's the Zanzibar theme over at babies r us. It's the whole jungle type thing and we just loved the monkey in it.
Giraffes are AWESOME. I love them so much. I saw this one this weekend actually and my friend was like, ooh, that one is super cute. My friend is making mine so it'll be a surprise (not to me) but I can't post pics until it's done. Very good choice though, mama.
That's exactly what I was looking for 5-6 years ago before my first one was born, and then again 4 years ago before my second was born - very cute. I ended up settling for stuff I wasn't crazy about. I was ahead of my time, apparently! :-)
I totally fell in love with the giraffes too. Now I want to go to the mall about an hour from here just to go to the Build A Bear store and build a giraffe!
Thanks for all the compliments. I'm hoping it will look simple and sweet when we're done with it. Oh and Dawn - I still have to order those letters you told me about. Dang, so much to do!
