Don't Know What to Say
I was going to write a post today about the wonderful thing my family/friends did for me Saturday but that will have to wait until tomorrow.
Today I would like to ask your thoughts and prayers for a friend of mine. I won't go into too many details but basically she got a call last night that her 17-year-old son was found dead in his bed. My SIL was with her at church at the time and the devastation that this has caused is indescribable. I cannot even begin to imagine what she is going through and I know I don't want to. That being said, I know that any good thoughts and any prayers that you could send her way would be appreciated beyond words. Thank you.

When I was 17 years old, I was in a car accident and was injured pretty badly. Obviously I survived, but the first couple of weeks were kinda touch-and-go. In retrospect, I've often felt so awful for all the pain I caused my parents.
I absolutely cannot imagine how awful it is to lose a child. Rest assured that your friends will be in my prayers.
I am sorry for your friend. I can't imagine going through that. I'll pray for them.
