FAFSA Sucks!
I'm sure any of you that have tried to receive Federal Financial Aid out there and been told you make TOO MUCH MONEY can relate to the title of this post. I have been fired from my job. I don't have a full-time job at this point and am drawing unemployment, and I'm doing everything I can think of to try to go back to school and finish my degree so I filled out the FAFSA. And of course I make way freaking too much money in their opinion and should be able to contribute $5000.00 this year to my education. I would LOVE to know where this is going to come from. Normally I just pull money right out of my butt but that is quite a bit at one time. If I had freaking $5000.00 I would be buying a newer car or trying to put new siding on my house. I most certainly would NOT be filling out a FAFSA because I'm BROKE. So thanks a lot federal government. I'm so very glad you're bailing out banks and crooks and people that ran their businesses into the ground. I'll try to smile about all the fabulous things going on in this country while I stand in the welfare line.

YOU ARE RIGHT! I have been bitching about the fafsa for two years. I have 2 in college, also lost my main income last summer etc etc and still we make too much. HUH? Then why do I still get late notices on our utility bills?
Don't even get me started on where the governments priorities are....helloooo, if we educate our people we will be a stronger nation. GRRRR.
yep...FAFSA stinks!
Just finished filling out my FAFSA and this last year I made a little of $500, but because my parents made $60,000 I can't get financial aid... Did I also mention my parents are not contributing towards my schooling because they are struggling to keep up with the bills as much as it is.
